In 1987, armed with his MBA, Sanjiv Kadam started his professional career at Xerox. In a very short time, he rose to a prominent position in the company and produced remarkable results. Post his stint at Xerox, he worked with Canon as the Regional Head. His time at Canon was exceptional, collecting many accolades such as Best Sales performance of 1995 in the Asia region and National Champion as location head for 1999-2000. However, he was still looking for bigger and more exciting challenges which took his journey to Reliance Communications where he quickly grew to the position of Assistant Vice President and National Head of a Business Unit.
Driven and ambitious, Sanjiv Kadam was consistently and constantly going above and beyond expectations, bagging several awards. After his time at Reliance, he was ready to be at the forefront and spearhead other organisations to success which led him to Max Secure Software as Director of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care and then to Tirubaa Technologies Private Limited as the Chief Operating Officer. In his long and illustrious career, he has built a reputation for being a motivational out-of-the-box thinker, lead by example manager, agent of change, a proponent of empowerment and accountability. He has a proven track record of increasing revenues, carving out dominant market share, streamlining workflow, team building, and team development.
Apart from his professional achievements, he is the president of YMCA Poona, which runs a school for children with special needs called Garland Craig Memorial School for the deaf. He has also co-authored three books on Marketing Management and Digital Marketing for MBA students of Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Education has always had a special place in his heart and it is his passion and drive for bringing about change at the grass-root level that led him to deduce that although our nation was on its way to a technological revolution propelling India onto a global stage, the education sector had not embraced this technology wave. This disparity was further evident in the rural sector where access to resources and funds were bleak.
He is greatly driven by the demographic dividend that our country currently enjoys being the youngest country in the world with an average age of 27 years, the fact that 75% of our labour force in unskilled, and the need to create a huge mass of school educated youth to take on skill training for our industry.
Keeping this in mind, to give access to quality education to those less fortunate and provide them with equal educational opportunities and hope for a better life, Sanjiv Kadam was motivated and inspired to establish ViewStar Technologies LLP and use the power of technology in education to reach the most remote parts of the nation.
