Fondly called the Pencil Man of UAE, Venkatraman Krishnamoorthy (“Venkat”) is the founder of MAHCE, WebQNex, and FIC.A fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; he is also a graduate member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
A philanthropist with a long standing passion in the field of education, he holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the most extensive collection of school supplies for charity in 24 hours. He also holds a Guinness world record for the highest collection of legumes for charity in 24 hours along with Tamil 89.4 FM Dubai.
In view of his immense philanthropy in the field of education, he has been recognized as one of the most Iconic NRI in UAE by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Govt of India. A community partner with Engage Dubai – Dubai Chamber of Commerce and works under the umbrella of Emirates Red Crescent. He is a board member on the Local Advisory Board of Gems Our Own Indian School. He is also Governor of the Board of Governors of Al Diyafah High School
As a prominent public speaker, he is a regular speaker at various UAE schools & colleges where he advocates the importance of giving & reuse to students
Mr. Venkat is on the advisory board of SmartLife – a CDA registered organization that works for the upliftment of blue-collared workers. He is also a member of the Focus Group – Core Committee for CSR in IBPC (Indian Business and Professional Council).Furthermore; he is a regular member of the CSR subcommittee in ICAI Dubai.
He has also been awarded the Aster 30 Hero, by Aster Hospital UAE in recognition of his selfless contribution to the health & wellbeing of society
