Sherin Ali , Purpose-Driven Leader in CSR, sustainability, and Responsible Business
Sherin Ali is a recognized voice in the global sustainability and CSR ecosystem, known for her ability to bridge corporate strategy, social impact, and youth leadership. Her career journey reflects adaptability, vision, and an unwavering commitment to creating purposeful change.
Beginning as a school teacher, Sherin developed early strengths in empathy, communication, and mentoring—qualities that remain central to her leadership. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration (Marketing) from Oklahoma City University, a Master’s in Commerce, and degrees in Education, Commerce, and English Literature, equipping her with a unique blend of business acumen and social sensitivity
In recognition of her tremendous contribution to the community, she has been awarded the title of Ambassador of the United World by the Council Board for Ambassador of the United World. She has also recently joined UOhnit as Brand Ambassador for India & the Middle East
Her corporate career spans business development, stakeholder engagement, and brand-building, culminating in her role as Global Lead – CSR at WNS Global Services. For over a decade, Sherin spearheaded initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), directly impacting more than 1.2 million children, youth, and communities across 13 countries. She pioneered programs in digital literacy, life skills, and values-based education, positioning CSR as a strategic enabler of both business and societal progress.
Sherin has represented Oklahoma City University at the World Business Forum, New York, and is regularly invited to serve as a speaker, jury member, and ambassador at leading CSR, ESG, and sustainability forums worldwide.
Building on this legacy, Sherin founded Thrivez—a global movement designed to transform graduating youth and young professionals into responsible leaders and sustainability advocates. Thrivez integrates academic learning with experiential volunteering, enabling participants to engage directly with NGOs, communities, and environmental initiatives. This creates a compounding impact—leveraging the energy and talent of young professionals to drive meaningful ESG outcomes while building their own careers and personal brands.
Sherin’s journey is one of evolution—from classrooms to corporate boardrooms, from local impact to global advocacy. Through Thrivez, she now focuses on preparing a generation that is not only career-ready but also conscience-ready, ensuring that personal success translates into collective good.
